Craig Hutchison has seen the light. On last week's Footy Classified, he actually said we were a premiership contender. We said if we could keep this team together, we could win the flag. At least he can change his mind. There are several footy commentators and journalists who still can't acknowledge us a a good team this year. I just hope we can keep winning and show them that we are.

Any team, in any sport, with the kind of record that Footscray have at the moment are contenders, especially if they defeated another contender so comprehensively as we did to Hawthorn. Refusing to acknowledge that Footscray are possible flag winners at this point says more about the commentator than it does about our team.

I'm very happy for all the commentators to keep underestimating us. I was worried after we beat the Hawks everyone would start saying this is our year and we'd begin the choking process.

Let's stay under the radar, then "surprise" everyone with a flag brownlow double.
