I am so disappointed with last night's game. Daniel Cross was fantastic and Hill, Lake, Griffin and Akermanis all tried very hard but overall it was a sub standard performance.
Hopefully we can lift for next week- one reason is to keep that 'St Kilda and Footscray playing in the same finals year theory' alive that you have there Caveman.
If we get done next week- that destroys your St Kilda and Footscray theory- as good as it is.
What a disappointment

I thought Morris was a bad choice to play on Buddy. He was too undersized against him. Why not put Lake on him from the start, I thought he did a pretty good job on him. He gets right in their face and annoys them, like he did with Fevola.
Even Hudson would have been a better pick, I think he would have done ok on Buddy. Or even Big Will on Roughhead or Buddy on the interchange. But Morris was just to small!!! Why put a 190cm man on a 196cm Buddy.

that said Conway, most of Buddy's goals he scored not through his superior height, but more in his ability to rove his own marks.
His first 5 goals were all "small forward" goals.
I think it's very disappointing that Rocket didn't have more of a plan to stop Buddy.
