[Caveman]

Noticed last night on the television last night whilst watching the Eastern Tigers game in Perth that they are advertising a program on Foxtel about 'Richmond- The Lost Years'.

Should be an interesting program if they delve into it seriously about what went wrong at Richmond beginning from the start of the third quarter of the 1982 Grand Final.


Yet will they do one about us? They could commence the program as the players drudge off at a half time of the scorching hot day that was Saturday 23rd September 1961 with Footscray leading Hawthorn.

What went wrong with the club, why have we so underachieved for so long? Both off the field as well as on the park. Why has our supporter base diminished (well I guess that is bleeding obvious) from the power house that we were with the 12,000 members back in 1955 the largest in the competition- (would have been the biggest in Australia) to now being one of the lesser lights.
