In the last few weeks the website has added some more videos to the Footscray Games sub-chapter of the Footscray Tube section.

We have been fortunate that some good people have through time sent videos and or DVDs to FNWB. So to Peter, Rod, Ian, Jarrod, Terry, Stuart and Simon, thanks so much. If I have missed someone I apologise and will be happy to acknowledge you next time. If you want to remain incognito, that is fine too of course.

I have a few more to add and am working on having the up and going before the end of the year.

Anyway if you have some action and would like it added to the website, we are certainly happy to have it put up there. Please feel free to post it to the website- the address is

FNWB
P.O.BOX 517
Niddrie 3042
Victoria

Just one thing though- please don't send any games AFTER the last round of 1996. So there will be no "Western" games added to FNWB. This is Footscray only, YouTube has a good selection of post 1996 if you want to watch that, but it won't be through this website.

If you only have videos, they can have their material converted to dvd and your video would definitely be returned to you. Also if you have a video/dvd at home and believe that yours is of a better quality than what is currently on Footscray Tube- we are certainly happy to alter it. One example might be 1983: Footscray v Melbourne, which is a bit jumpy at the start.

Let the good viewing continue. Let's add to it.

Thanks Caveman for all of your great work.  Loved seeing these and looking forward to seeing more in the future.

Are there any particular games you are after ?

Yes Amelia Jane.

if you have anything before 1976, we will put that up as well

These games are ones that I can recall being on television  at the time

1976: Melbourne v Footscray- on Channel 7

1976: Footscray v South Melbourne on both Channel 2 & Channel 7

1976: Footscray v St Kilda

1976: Footscray v Carlton

1976: Carlton v Footscray

1976: Geelong v Footscray- (Elimination Final)

1977: Footscray v Melbourne

1977: Footscray v Fitzroy

1977: Footscray v St Kilda

1977: Essendon v Footscray

1977: Footscray v Geelong

1977: St Kilda v Footscray

1977: Footscray v Carlton

1978: Footscray v Essendon

1978: Footscray v Carlton

1978: Essendon v Footscray

1979: Hawthorn v Footscray

1979: North Melbourne v Footscray

1980: Fitzroy v Footscray

1980: Footscray v South Melbourne

1981: Footscray v Essendon

1983: Footscray v Fitzroy

1984: Footscray v Collingwood the Channel 7- coverage- (we already have Channel 2)

I have a few games from 1985 and 1986 but the picture quality is not all that great in some of them.

Anyhow those above are the standouts, but certainly not restricted to them alone. It will be hard to gain access to those from the 1970's (well before the video recorder came into play) yet surely someone out there recorded the

1981 Footscray v Essendon game, as a few people had videos in those days, not many but some still did.

Anyway we might have some action from a rare game from many years ago coming soon.

Might be an idea people to give Internet Explorer a wide berth for awhile.

It isn't picking up Pages 4 and 5 of Footscray Games, though Pages 1,2 and 3 are fine

Best to use another method, as they are showing Pages 4 and 5.

More will be added in the next week or so, quite a few new ones have arrived in the last few weeks,(some very rare) so more Footscray Games will be up there soon.
