We were incredibly underwhelming and heartless last night but there was some light at the end of the tunnell. It was fantastic to see the brilliant Robert Murphy back to his best. He is a beautiful player to watch, so skilled and can read the game. He has struggled this year after coming back from a knee reconstruction but that is to be expected. Hopefully now he has completely regained his confidence and will play like the star that he is. I also hope Mitch Hahn can regain his confidence as well because we need his strength and committment. Higgins was great last night. He will keep getting better as will Everitt and Tom Williams. Also, Cross will also regain his confidence. He seems a bit out of sorts at the moment, but the more games he plays after returning from that knee injury, the more he will return to his brilliant best.

I was never overly impressed with Murphy until the last few weeks. He has one of the best kicks in the game. He can kick it long and he is accurate over any distance. And those are 2 skills that have been lacking in the side lately.

Without a doubt the best player for the Dogs on Saturday night.
