How bad was that match last night. It was heartless.......pathetic football. I thought after the West Coast match we couldnt play any worse. How wrong was I ? We had no spirit, no heart, no toughness and no desire to win last night. I am strarting to think that our players have lost the footy part of their brain. We have just lost the plot.....Why you would continue to handball the ball to a player with an opponent next to him defies logic.

I think that over the summer we need to have a player clean out. We can start with BOYD, DARCY (gone already), COONEY (Trade Bait), McMahon (He just has no idea about footy and hasnt hit a player on the chest all year). Actually lets get rid of all the guys in the Peter Jackson TV add.

Lets get some key position player who are consistant all year and have a basic understanding of what the game is about.

I should have saved my $20 last night and watched it on TV like 80% of Doggies surporters.

THAT WAS CRAP!.

I agree, very poor. Atleast with the West Coast thrashing we had an excuse, it was West Coast. But we made Melbourne look like a top 8 side lastnight. I have noticed that 'panic handballing' in the last few games. My theory is there are no big targets up forward to kick it too. So they panic and pass it around hoping for an opportunity.

I also agree on Cooney. He'd be the most over-rated player in the side.

Why would anyone want to get rid of Boyd? He has been one of our best players all year. I think you are also way too hard on Adam Cooney. I think he is a great player, definately not overated. As for getting rid of the players in the Peter Jackson advert, I presume you are including Cross. Again, one of our best players and remember he has only just come back from injury. We need to support our players not continually bag them. Mcmahon was murdered by the umpires. Three time Aaron Davey was given free kicks when both players were equally holding each other. I know Darcy is not a good players anymore but he is retiring and has been wonderful for us over the years. Anyway, we have a lot to look forward to next year. Hopefully injury will not curse our season as it has done this year and all of our players are fit. Everitt and Tom Williams show heaps of promise and I am sure that Farren Ray will build up a bit over the off season and also come on. Griffen, Gillbee, Hahn and Brad Johnson did not play last night and we also only had two on the interchange bench. Yes, they were extremely disappointing and should have beaten Melbourne but maybe next week it might be a differnent story.

That Peter Jackson advert has unfortunately been a millstone around the neck of the club and certainly those players in it.

"You look nice in your suits but how about getting a kick?"

I have heard that above comment and its variations over 100 times.

I would like to see the Pyrox advertisment with Geoff Jennings and Kelvin Templeton again just for old times sake.

I agree with you on McMahon. Some of those free's were so soft. I actually think he does a pretty good job at Full Back. It isn't the most glamorous position to play.

I haven't seen this Peter Jackson ad, it must only be played in Melbourne. I'll see if it's on YouTube.

Big words mate.

Who do you reckon he is worth though in the league?

We'd have to get a BLOODY big name for him. I'm not poo-pooing your suggestion yet, just intrigued by it.

Name me who you reckon we could realistically get for him.

I hope it is on You Tube for you, because it is the talk of the town. Since that add came on televsion the season has gone down the sewer. It is good to see Footscray players in advertisments, I have no problems with that, its just that when things go bad, then those blokes in that(or any) commercial are going to be the first lambasted. That is what is now happening.

Good call Johno. I would have wished him the best had he gone anywhere but crows or richmond. He is a prime example of an athlete, not a footballer.... Bring on the Big Fez Rig/Optimus Prime/Will Minson!

McGhie, Thorpe, McKenna, Burton and Charles- are just a few more who ended up with the Eastern Tigers, although some of those names, I wouldn't classify as rejects.
