What a great win on Sunday. Akermanis was superb. He always seems to know where the ball is and how to set up goals. Cooney was fantastic and it is great to see Murphy back to his almost best. Both Cooney and Murphy can play better so it will be sublime when they are both fully match fit and 100 % Nathan Eagleton also was great as was Cross, Lake, Johnson and Big Will stood up in the second half.

And it couldn't have come at a better moment. Anything but a win would have been worrying.
Also, it helped restore our reputation on my side of the world. Last week's match against St Kilda had been broadcast over here, casting some doubt over Footscray's ability, but luckily so was the match against Adelaide. Always great to see us winning!
