Well we get to have a vote for some board candidates.
I notice that of the three candidates one of them - Stuart McDonald is what would be called "an outsider" his biography is not as long as the others, but that isn't always a bad thing, people can get lost in the business jargon for many people who join football boards.
This is good that the "Average Joe" can have a go - I will most likely vote for him, for no better reason than diversity is good, there is too much of 'boards appointing their mates' with little if any publicity to board changes. We do live in a democracy.
The last main vote at the club was in 1982 for President- it was between Dr Tony Capes from the in power board and the outsider was Media personality Ernie Sigley. Dr Capes won that one- Ernie would most likely have sacked the coach before Dr Capes actually did later in the year.
Anyway good luck to Stuart for having a crack.
