Just saw the Eagles have been fined $5k for having Nic Nat & Dean Cox speak to their ruck coach via mobile phone during three quarter time.
I cannot see why this is a problem? What illegal benefit are they going to get from having someone phone them rather than give them advice face to face?

What would happen if they were ringing up a bet on their phone betting accounts?
Hello, yes Dapto Greyhounds, Race 5, 20 units each way on number 3.
Then I will have a box trifecta on..........
Or they could have been ringing up for their horoscope,
or.........
wishing Auntie Beatrice back in Perth a Happy 78th Birthday?
They could have got the whole team huddle involved-
Dean Cox: Hello Auntie Beattie - is that you?
Auntie Beatrice: Yes- is that you young Dean?
Dean Cox: OK boys altogether now- Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Auntie Beatrice- Happy Birthday to you-
Auntie Beatrice: Thanks Dean, your a lovely lad to rememeber your old Aunties birthday- so far away over there in Melbourne
Dean Cox: Our pleasure, Auntie Beattie- I was always going to call you before the game around lunchtime here- but then I remembered the time zone distance- and I knew you were going out for dinner, so I thought I would call you after your lunch and this is the best moment now. We are at three quarter time at present- ooh I will have to hang up though Auntie Beattie, we have got a bad line here...... bleeding mobile phones ah....
