Why is our president not making statements about important issues? It is left to others to talk about our shocking losing streak by huge margins, the Will Minson sledging affair and now the drug issue. He should be addressing these issues but is no where to be found.

How dare you Amelia Jane offer a non positive view of our President? I believe that this may be illegal by law?

Of all the El Supremo's that have been President for 16 years and the club they preside over has never played in a Grand Final in any of those 16 years- our fearless leader is the very best of ALL of them in that very category of -

16 seasons as President, no Grand Final appearances and 1 wooden spoon.

Every single other President of all football clubs going all the way back to 1897(both V.F.A and V.F.L) that is a member of this prestigious club that is the

16 seasons in President, no Grand Final appearances and 1 wooden spoon.

is vastly inferior to our President.

He has one year to go as President.

Where are you Dimma? I don't want another season like this with Smorgon in charge again- 16 years is long enough, when will Smorgon be held accountable?

If the President of Hawthorn walked past you in an aisle at Safeway or Coles- how many would recognise him and who he was? That is Andrew Newbold.

From Non- Eastern Hawks supporters- I would guess at less than 10% would.

What about the St Kilda President- from Non-Southern Saints fans probably less that 10% would recognise him. That is Greg Westaway. An erratic ball bounce away from being a Premiership President a year after a similar near miss in a Grand Final.

Then there is the main man at Geelong- a former AFL Commissioner- Colin Carter.

Being a high Profile person is NOT a necessary pre-requisite to be a successful President of an AFL club. It can be helpful in some situations, however it isn't the be all and end all.

Who has ever heard of Al Boord? He was President of a Premiership club, but probably less that 5% of Richmond supporters under the age of 45 have ever heard of him. As for non- Richmond fans that would be lower than 1% of 1% of Non- Eastern Tigers would have any knowledge that Al Boord was President of Richmond in their 1973 Premiership season.
