We should wear the old red shorts against North Melbourne next Sunday afternoon at the Docklands Stadium. We are the away team.
Red has nothing to do with Gnawth Melbourne- so thus we wouldn't have to wear that white jumper. Throw in the old style socks (those from the 1970's that were not predominantly blue and did have some red in them)
It would be great- and also make it easier for the crowd to distinguish both clubs

Well it didn't matter!
When I walked in and saw North Melbourne sporting white shorts and our blokes in blue- well the red shorts issue became redundant!
That was the first victory of the day- the home team North Melbourne wearing the away shorts. Did they really need to? North Melbourne gave us a slight psychological advantage by their acquiescence in the shorts department.
